If you missed it, Inherent Sanctuary from May 17th as part of The Fuse Factory Electronic and Digital Arts Lab. My one person multi instrumental and analog video synth meditation on the internal psychosis that surrounds the economy of waste that is consuming our planet. FYI, the whole thing starts with live audio created from a robot vacuum attempting to clean up around the audience. Thanks to Nikki Swift for the documentation and support.

Join the Ohio Art League at RAW Gallery in Columbus this Saturday for the gallery opening of Swift Segments: The Art of Nikki Swift 📽️
The opening reception will be 1-4pm this Saturday, May 25

Nikki Swift has been a practicing filmmaker and artist for most of her life. Recording day-to-day life since she was a teenager, she imagines herself a tinkerer of sorts exploring various image-making devices to fit her creative whims. Nikki creates video installations that combine social commentaries with archival materials, found footage, and a connection to the historical avant-garde film and video movements.

Gallery Hours: Weds-Fri 1-5pm.
Saturday 1-4pm

Edison Voicewriter dictation device from the early 1950s. With a new belt this device now plays and records. The recording that you hear is from 1953. I have also devised capture method for the recordings.

Recordings from this device will be used in a future video.
