What’s next for DA? Let’s take a second and address the future of our involvement in Ukraine and on a new front at home.
“Will DA continue to support Ukraine?”
- Unequivocally, yes. Although DA shoes are stepping off Ukrainian soil, we will continue to monitor our established training cadres and programs throughout Ukraine. Great care, effort, and time was taken standing up native Ukrainian instructors to do the job. They were cultivated meticulously and reviewed critically, and we trust them to continue the mission without failure. We will be in communication with our networks to provide feedback, support, and logistics whenever possible.
“Will you return to Ukraine?”
- Ukraine is like no other place on earth. It has the the ability to ease you in to something that feels close to home, like you were always here or at least meant to be here. For more reasons than one, we will be present in Ukraine again. We can’t say when, or why, but we’re not done here.
“Plans for home?”
- The US is most definitely home, one that is in its own unique era of turmoil and in need of its own type of support. Coming from a police background, one of the most difficult things was watching the fractures and struggles within American law enforcement. DA pledges to be a part of the solution and to provide training both tactically and in mindset to support our officers in these uncertain times. We plan to show them the same levels of love, support, and commitment we’ve shown our Ukrainian family.
“Will you miss Ukraine?”
- After the better part of two years in a foreign country, making friends, brothers, and life long bonds, the answer is yes. Stay strong, we’re with you until victory and beyond.
