Celebrating the People Behind Our Growth

Over the last few years, Midwest Protection Division has been blessed with tremendous growth. But growth isn’t just about new clients, new assignments, or expanding operations, it’s about the people who show up every day and make that growth possible.

Like many growing companies, we can sometimes get so caught up in the day-to-day movement of the business that we forget to step back and recognize the people behind it.

Recently, we had the opportunity to do exactly that by recognizing several members of our leadership team as they step into new roles within the company.

We also want to recognize the supervisors and leaders who have been with us for some time and may not have had an event like this when they stepped into their positions. Moving forward, we want recognition like this to become an ongoing part of our culture, not only for supervisors, but for the officers and team members throughout our organization who deserve to be celebrated.

Most importantly, none of our success would be possible without our officers and on-site personnel who put on the uniform, report to their assignments, serve our clients, and represent Midwest Protection every single day. Our leadership team is only as strong as the people we have the privilege of leading.

Let’s Talk About Car Break-Ins & Vehicle Theft

If you’re a property manager, business owner, HOA board member, or hotel operator, chances are you’ve either dealt with a vehicle break-in or know someone who has.

For many people, it’s easy to think of these incidents as “just another broken window.” In reality, the impact goes much further.

A single vehicle break-in can leave residents feeling unsafe, create frustration for employees and customers, increase insurance claims, generate negative online reviews, and consume valuable time for property staff, law enforcement, and maintenance teams. When these incidents become recurring, they can affect a property’s reputation just as much as they affect the victim’s wallet.

The encouraging news is that vehicle thefts have declined significantly over the past two years. According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, nearly 660,000 vehicles were stolen in the United States during 2025, a substantial improvement from previous years. That progress is credited to collaboration between law enforcement, vehicle manufacturers, insurance companies, and public awareness efforts. Even with that decline, however, a vehicle is still stolen approximately every 48 seconds somewhere in the United States.

No security provider can guarantee that crime will never happen.

But a strong, visible, and professionally managed security program can significantly reduce opportunities, increase the risk for offenders, and improve the overall sense of safety for everyone who lives, works, or visits your property.

At the end of the day, success isn’t measured only by the incidents we respond to, it’s also measured by the incidents that never happen because someone decided your property wasn’t worth the risk..

At Midwest Protection, our philosophy has always been that security is more than standing post. It’s about creating an environment where criminal activity is less likely to happen in the first place. That means maintaining a highly visible presence, conducting unpredictable patrols, documenting suspicious activity, communicating with property management, and remaining proactive instead of reactive.

Another successful community event in the books! 🇺🇸🎆

Midwest Protection was proud to assist with security for the City of Whitehall’s Fireworks Viewing Event. It was a great evening filled with family, friends, and celebration, and we’re grateful to have played a role in helping keep the event safe for everyone.

Thank you to the City of Whitehall and the Whitehall Police Department for allowing us to provide support during the event. The heat did not hold back, but neither did our team. A big thank you to our officers for braving the 98° weather without skipping a beat.

The Midwest Protection Division team was honored to provide security services for the 2026 Pride Festival and Parade this past weekend. With more than 750,000 attendees participating in the festivities, it was truly amazing to witness our community come together in celebration, unity, and pride.

We are extremely proud of our officers, supervisors, and support staff who did an outstanding job ensuring festival-goers could safely enjoy all of the events throughout the weekend. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to public safety were on full display, and we could not be more appreciative of their hard work.

A special thank you to Stonewall Columbus and the entire event team for entrusting Midwest Protection Division with the opportunity to serve such an important community event. We are grateful for the partnership and look forward to supporting future events.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, and celebrated. It was a privilege to be part of such an incredible weekend.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the continued pursuit of equality.

Juneteenth marks the day when the last enslaved African Americans in the United States learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It serves as an important reminder of our nation’s history and the progress that has been made through courage, perseverance, and unity.
