This Earth Day, we’re highlighting one of our partners making an impact right here in the community: The Hardy Center. Through their Hardy HOPE Garden program, students are learning how to grow food and the responsibility behind it. 🌎

We were grateful to support their mission through work on their brand guide and website, helping expand their reach. See the full case study here: https://canva.link/4aif9lfh3dbtfla

"How do you operate with ease… without spending a whole bunch of money?"

That was the question Kesha Garrett, COO of The Columbus Urban League, brought to UpRys and it's one we hear from mission-driven organizations all the time.

This past year, UpRys Technology Consultant Gus Echeverria went in, assessed their operation, met with every department, and helped them select the right technology for where they were headed.

The impact? Faster payroll. Real-time grant allocation. Streamlined donor management, invoicing, reporting, and expense reconciliation that is all moving in the same direction.

"It reduces the amount of mistakes, thus saving us time, saving us money, saving us energy. And it creates that effectiveness within the department."

💡 Let's talk about sustainable growth: https://www.uprys.com/solutions/jaam-session/

What do the best leaders do differently when uncertainty hits?

In conversations with small business and nonprofit leaders this year, one theme keeps surfacing: uncertainty. Tightening budgets, staff burnout, evolving technology, and funding pressures are forcing organizations to rethink how they grow and operate.

In our latest piece, UpRys consultant Anjali Dighe shares an insight she has seen consistently across the most effective leaders she has worked with – the ability to recognize when outside perspective is the missing piece.

Organizations across every sector are feeling the strain of employee burnout and rising turnover. So we asked HR consultant Julie Homsy to break down why many organizations miss the early indicators of burnout and how building intentional systems can create a healthier workforce.

Intentional systems give leaders the visibility, capacity, and structure needed to respond before challenges escalate. Without those systems, it’s hard to strengthen retention and overall organizational stability.
