We’re excited to offer a new training opportunity designed to help employers and teams confidently navigate challenging and high-stress interactions.
Our De-Escalation training equips participants with practical, real-world strategies to recognize early signs of escalating behavior and respond in a way that reduces conflict and maintains safety. This session focuses on effective communication techniques, situational awareness, and adapting responses based on different environments and behaviors—including those influenced by stress, mental health, or disability.
This training will be led by Gary L Sigrist Jr, a nationally recognized speaker and expert in emergency preparedness with more than 30 years of experience in education and law enforcement. Gary currently serves as a police officer and training officer and has worked extensively with schools, healthcare organizations, and businesses to deliver training in emergency management, workplace violence prevention, threat assessment, and active shooter response. His real-world experience and practical approach make this session both engaging and immediately applicable.
In today’s environment, where employees regularly interact with customers, clients, and the public, having the ability to de-escalate situations is not just a soft skill—it’s a critical safety and risk management tool. This training helps protect your employees, improve customer interactions, and strengthen your overall workplace culture.
Who should attend: Managers, supervisors, HR professionals, customer-facing employees, and anyone responsible for handling difficult or emotionally charged interactions.
