We are in challenging times, with the overall marketplace changing daily due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. One thing remains the same, however:

Taking care of our customers is our top priority.

To our Elavon customers:

We know some businesses impacted by COVID-19 may not take payments during this time. Starting April 1, if your business is one of these, and we see no settled transactions during a billing period, you will not be charged your monthly fees. There's nothing you need to do to get the monthly fees waived. Additionally, when you are ready to take card transactions again, normal monthly billing will resume. No action is required on your part. We are here to help and look forward to enabling you to get back to business soon.

In the meantime, we continue to monitor the situation and look for ways to make accepting payments a little easier for you. You can continue to keep tabs on your account at www.mypaymentsinsider.com.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considers the sale and marketing of products that claim to prevent, treat, mitigate, diagnose or cure coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) to be a threat to public health. The FDA and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) are actively monitoring for what it views as fraudulent COVID-19 prevention and treatment claims.

As a result, we are taking affirmative steps to prohibit the marketing and sale of products that claim to prevent or treat COVID-19.

While we are monitoring merchants at this time for such activity if you are or know of a merchant engaged in these practices we encourage you to remove such items and promotions from your sites and shelves immediately.
