For over 20 years E-Polk Inc, doing business as PANGAEA Internet, has provided affordable, reliable fiber-optic internet to foster economic development, improve quality of life, and promote innovation. As a local 501(c)(3) non-profit we are proud to partner with and provide internet to the schools, local and county governments, hospitals, businesses, and residential customers throughout Polk and R

utherford Counties. We currently serve nearly 1,000 customers and with grant funding we can grow to support many more. We are glad there has been a nationwide and statewide focus on expanding broadband service as dependable fiber internet is essential for people’s health, education, and employment. PANGAEA internet cares about our community and we are driven to support our region’s progress, and we are grateful for our past and future funding partnerships.

PANGAEA Internet is honored to be the recipient of a grant through the Polk County Community Foundation’s Caring for Our Neighbors Fund.

The funds will be used to help bring fiber-optic internet access to the Little White Oak affordable housing community in Polk County, North Carolina, helping bridge the digital divide for underserved residents.
