Job Duties will include:

*Provide excellent service to clients (be courteous, attention to detail, professional appearance and demeanor)
*Good communication skills required (verbal and written)
*Understand and able to execute post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations
*Successfully apply security training and skills while making wise decisions in situations that can escalate quickly when not properly handled
*Must be able to follow directives given by Chain of Command (Supervisors)
Be able to remain awake, alert, and attentive while on duty

Qualified candidates will:

*Be Punctual! Must be on time to your post. Tardiness and repeat call-offs are not tolerated.
*MUST Have Valid Driver's License
*Must have a clean driving record if assigned to work any locations where a company vehicle is utilized
*Must be at least 18 years of age
*Must have a high school diploma or GED
*Must pass a background check
*Be able to pass a drug screen
*We offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. (WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED)
*Have 20 Hour O.P.O.T.A. Certification upon being hired (Or be able to pass the class AND be approved through Homeland Security to become armed within 30 days of hire. Next OPOTA Fi****ms Class is within the month). Classes fill up quickly.
*Have reliable transportation (preferably your own vehicle as most sites can't be reached by public transportation)
*Own a smartphone
*Be able to write reports with good spelling and punctuation
*Have good people skills
*Prefer 1 year previous security experience

Pay depends upon experience and position

INDIVIDUALS WITH A VALID 20 HOUR OPOTA FI****MS CERTIFICATE UPON HIRE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A $500 SIGINING BONUS. Individual must be full-time, work at least 90 days and be in good standing on their 90th day. Employee cannot have had previous employment with Anchor Security and Logistics within the last 24 months.

INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT A VALID 20-HOUR OPOTA FI****MS CERTIFICATE WHO ARE WILLING TO TAKE AND PASS THE 20 HOUR OPOTA COURSE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A $300 SIGNING BONUS. Individual must pass the course, become armed, work full-time hours, work at least 90 days from the date of becoming armed (receiving FAB card from Homeland Security) and be in good standing on their 90th day. Employee cannot have had previous employment with Anchor Security and Logistics within the last 24 months.

Bonus will be paid on the paycheck that immediately follows their 90th day of employment after working armed. More details to be discussed during interview. *****Individual must mention hiring bonus at the time of interview in order to be eligible.*****

Anchor Security and Logistics is now in Kentucky and needs to hire Armed Officers and Armed Supervisors for new sites in Ashland, Kentucky.

INDIVIDUALS MUST HAVE A VALID CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon License) and able to provide a copy upon hire.

Job Duties will include:

Provide excellent service to clients (be courteous, attention to detail, professional appearance and demeanor)
Good communication skill required (verbal and written)
Understand and able to execute post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations
Successfully apply security training and skills while making wise decisions in situations that can escalate quickly if not handled properly
Prefer a self-starter that can follow directions and perform their job once trained and ensure that the property is secure at all times during your shift.
Qualified candidates will:

Have Valid Driver's License
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Have to pass a background check
