When I started Bukur’s Appliance Repair in 2023, it was terrifying. I was walking away from a business that wasn’t moving forward, and at the same time, I had just found out me and my girlfriend were expecting a child. Stability was tempting — a factory job, a steady paycheck — but I had bigger goals for my family. I couldn’t let them down.So I pushed forward, even when it was hard. I learned new skills, took the risks, and kept showing up day after day. There were ups and downs, but I stayed committed because I believed that if this business took off, it would change everything for us.Now, looking back, I’m so grateful I didn’t quit. Today this business feeds my family and provides for our future.
