Wow. It has been over a year since I last posted. Life has been crazy around here between moving, my husband changing jobs, and starting another business! I have, however, done a few photoshoots in the interim. With more photoshoots scheduled for the next few weeks, it's time to come out of hiding and start posting again!

Here are a few from an AWESOME shoot last fall. Little one's parents were so pleasant to work with and SO wonderful and fantastic when it took longer than planned to edit his newborn images!

I couldn't decide which image to post!! I love the close-up, but there's just something about her on her tip toes that grabs me. She's the only girl out of four, and it was so sweet to see how excited she was over having the opportunity to push him in the stroller-very.closely.monitored. She reminded me so much of my own daughter. Truly.

I had a very awesome request for a lifestyle newborn shoot a few weeks ago. Folks, I'm pretty sure I've finally found "me" in the photographic world. I really feel that lifestyle photography is the direction I'm moving in, and I am so excited!

My children are officially out of school for the summer. It's Friday. The sun is shining, and there's a nice breeze. And this image makes me smile every time I think of it. Life often happens in the details. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

These were, quite literally, the first four frames from the cake smash. She had never tried icing(or cake) before, and her reaction was PRICELESS. Capturing moments like these just help affirm-to me- why I love what I do so much.

Mama's birthday was yesterday. I had really hoped to have her pictures finished as a surprise birthday present. Kind of. Unfortunately, the pollen/allergy cold has, quite literally, been kicking my hiney. I finally feel better today, and I can't resist posting one of the final images I edited. Look at those lips!
