Yesterday, I continued the tradition of giving gavels to those who work hard to help pass good legislation in Ohio.

My House Bill 9 to restrict sales of medicines containing dextromethorphan to minors is on it’s way to the Governor.

As always, my aide Megan Ryser gets a ton of credit for her hard work in our office.

For this bill, I chose to give a gavel to my friend Kristen Brinkman who has stood with me through four House Speakers and two Senate Presidents to get this bill passed.

Special shout out to former State Rep Jeff Rezabek and his former aide Kevin Boehner for first introducing this bill in 2015.

45 years of friendship and professional respect!! It can be done...Republicans, Democrats, Lobbyists, Consultants etc. I’ve been blessed to learn from one of the best Thomas Green! Today was a wonderful day for me to be reminded, but an ever better day for my Pops to be with friends!!! Thank you Jerry, Bill, Branstools, Nick and Bob!
