My passion and thirst for entrepreneurship began at an early age through necessity. Whether it was mowing lawns, carrying papers, shoveling snow, raking leaves, doing odd jobs for seniors in my neighborhood, or working Bingo at my church a couple nights a week, having a single mother who became ill and disabled it became necessary I bring income in the household to pay our monthly rent. My Mother saw fit to teach her children the value of having a strong work ethic. I am indeed grateful!

Fast forward to today, I’ve enjoyed a forty-plus year entrepreneur experience as a marketing executive, media consultant, publisher, television producer, corporate sales trainer, and successful at running a multitude of various business enterprises. In fact I’ve started from scratch three business enterprises that enjoyed great success. I have enjoyed such clients as Nationwide Insurance, Merrill Lynch, Wendy's, Toyota Motor Sales, Delta Air Lines Inc., UPS, Comcast, Pepsico, Turner Broadcasting, Cardinal Health, CVS Health, JPMorgan Chase, Bob Evans, Hyatt Regency Hotels, BMW, Huntington Bank, BellSouth, Macy’s, HBO, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Home Depot, AllState, State Farm, LBrands, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Grady Health Systems, Ford Motor Company, Lockheed-Martin, The Department of Travel and Tourism for Bermuda, The Ohio State University, Georgia Pacific, WellPoint, Microsoft, Honda Motor Manufacturing, and so many other Fortune 100-500 firms that have each done business with my firms.. My primary services consisted of securing various contracts from corporate Fortune 100 & Fortune 500 firms by securing sponsorships, and underwriting for various publishing products, signature elite events, and television programs that assisted these clients with their marketing outreach and engagement targeted to minority audiences. Additionally, my work resulted in the creation of a significant multi-million-dollar publishing firm, that annually published upscale directories in twenty-seven metro cities in America. Those directories highlighted the successes and achievements of the nation’s most influential and affluent minority professionals, and we became the largest African-American publishing firm in America. In doing so, I’ve been blessed to have been honored by (4) four-U.S. Presidents with invites to the White House, and have amassed numerous awards and proclamations for my firm’s marketing expertise. Former President Barack Obama wrote... “Thank you for your continued work to promote the positive achievements of African-Americans nationwide.” Former President Jimmy Carter even held a reception in my honor at the Carter Presidential Library in Atlanta, Georgia to honor my work and publishing success. To date I’ve published sixty-four books. However, my real passion and expertise lies in helping other entrepreneurs, start-up’s, and small business professionals understand the importance of the role sales and marketing plays in building a sustaining business enterprise. Additionally, to grow and expand your business you have to refine your business model by duplicating it in multiple locations and even different cities. If you continue to master the sales process by recruiting an All-Star team of cloned associates, you’ll be able to drive and increase revenues to new heights and serve and exceed more clients expectations!

My future plans consist in opening up an Urban Entrepreneur Academy for training up a new generation of Urban Entrepreneurs in underserved communities in our country.
