Mid-State Sales is seeking to fill Shipping and Receiving positions within our fluid conveyance manufacturing facility. We are an ISO 9001: 2015 registered manufacturer of hydraulic hose and tube assemblies and have provided our customers with quality products and services since 1969. Come join our team!

We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, who are mechanically inclined, detailed oriented, with strong communication skills. Forklift experience is a plus. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in Shipping & Receiving, be great at multitasking, and prior experience picking and pulling parts.

While prior industry experience is a plus--we will provide training! We strive to reward and promote hard-working individuals from within. Pay range varies depending on level of experience.

Responsibilities:

Pick, pull, and pack orders.

Support the shipment of product by making arrangements for freight pick-up.

Insures shipping documents are prepared and ready for shipment.

Load and unload trucks.

Meet truck drivers at docks and unloads inbound freight.

Checks inbound freight against packing slips and Mid-State purchase orders.

Confirms quantities match packing slip and purchase orders.

Reports shortages, damaged shipments and defective products.

Maintains clean and organized work area by meeting the 5S standards.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Mid-State Sales is seeking to fill the Packaging Associate position within our fluid conveyance manufacturing facility. We are an ISO 9001:2015 registered manufacturer of hydraulic hose and tube assemblies and have provided our customers with quality products and services since 1969. Come join our team!

As a Packaging Associate with Mid-State, you are responsible for cleaning packaging materials, loading items into containers, and weighing and labeling the items appropriately. Our Packaging Associates also perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials and shipments.

Duties:

- Pack weigh, and label completed items prior to shipment

- Package items according to specific customer requirements

- Perform basic quality functions to items prior to shipment

- Maintain clean, legible records of each order,

- Process UPS shipments

- Arrange LTL shipments

Requirements:

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

- Ability to life heavy objects, up to 70 lbs.

- A sense of urgency on the job

- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse is preferred

As a Customer Service professional at Mid-State, you will:

Provide customers with detailed product and service information
Prepare complex price and delivery quotations
Resolve customer issues
Work closely with Sales, identify prospects, and offer product solutions
Maintain excellent customer relations
Communicate daily with accounts via fax, phone, and email
What to expect:

A Customer Service Rep with Mid-State is not your typical "call-center environment position." We service a niche industry that requires extensive product knowledge. Because of this, it takes several months to learn the ins-and-outs of our industry. This means you can expect a lengthy training process that requires 2-3 months of training in our fabrication facility. If you find physical labor, dirt, or grime scary--this may not be the best fit for you.
