Officially entering my final lap around my 30ā€™s!
This year brought a lot: our fourth kid, my beautiful business, a trip to Israel with the whole crew, and some very big family moments!

Iā€™ve pushed myself in so many ways this year, as a mom, wife, businesswoman, and friendā€¦and Iā€™m really proud of the ways Iā€™ve grown, stretched myself, and occasionally just held everything together with a prayer and a snack šŸ˜œ

Israel was definitely one of the highlights. Getting to take our family there, experience so much together, celebrate, laugh, eat, explore, and make memories that weā€™ll be talking about for yearsā€¦ Iā€™m incredibly grateful.

So Iā€™m soaking up this last year of my 30s. I want to squeeze every last drop out of 39, say yes to the fun stuff, keep pushing myself, and laugh a LOT!
And if this photo is any indication of what 39 is going to look likeā€¦ weā€™re in for lots of fun!

The smallest wedding Iā€™ve ever cooked forā€¦ and honestly, one of the most beautiful. šŸ¤

Small guest list, BIG food. šŸ˜‚ And when I say the food was outrageousā€¦ I mean it. Top quality dishes and super delicious!

Everyone there was family or a very close friend, which made the whole day feel so incredibly intimate and special. Thereā€™s something really amazing about cooking for a room full of people who are there because they genuinely love the couple. ā¤ļø

I thought about every little detail, and Iā€™m so incredibly proud of how everything came together. Being trusted to be part of such an important day is something I never take for granted.

And then there was the venueā€¦ šŸ˜ Absolutely gorgeous. Like, *ā€okayyyy, I see what weā€™re working with here.ā€šŸ˜‚

So grateful to this beautiful couple for including me in their day. It was an absolute honor to feed your favorite people, celebrate with you!

Behind the scenes of a truly special cooking demo last night! I had the pleasure of hosting a virtual cooking class for a family celebrating their motherā€™s 75th birthday, with loved ones joining from five different Zoom locations to cook, connect, and celebrate together.
The menu was chosen by the birthday girl herself: rich chocolate babka, flavorful Mongolian chicken, and comforting hot and sour soup. Throughout the evening, we shared plenty of laughs, enjoyed a glass of w**e, learned new techniques, and uncovered a few of my favorite AliBabka kitchen secrets along the way.
One of the things I love most about these experiences is how food brings people together, no matter where they are. Whether youā€™re planning a family gathering, team-building event, client appreciation experience, bridal or baby shower, birthday celebration, or just a fun night with friends, a customized cooking class is a memorable way to connect.

Focusing on this corned beef with German potato salad and braised cabbage. Perfect bites all around.
The real win though? My 5 year old took one bite of the cabbage and yelled, ā€œThis is SO delicious!ā€ And honestlyā€¦ if you can impress a 5 year old with cabbage, youā€™ve officially won dinner šŸ˜‚

The very next night we switched gears for a beautiful womenā€™s philanthropy event filled with lots of little bites, great conversation, and an even greater cause.

70 years young and still the life of the party šŸŽ‰šŸŒ®šŸ”„
My dad was born on Cinco de Mayo, and somehow the universe knew exactly what it was doing. Five has always been his lucky number, and this year we got to celebrate the big 7-0 surrounded by so many friends, family, tacos, guac, marshmallows, and memories.
Feeling extra grateful to live in Columbus where we could pull off such a fun, delicious, joy filled night together. We laughed hard, ate even harder, and yesā€¦ the guac bar was a fan favorite immediately šŸ„‘
