I'm Angela - Photographer, Artist, Wife, and Mom. And if I've learned one thing (though I've really learned one MILLION things) since becoming a mother, it's that moments are fleeting. And honestly, it's probably the most important lesson. Treasure all the moments, big and small, because they pass us by so fast. This, is why I love being a photographer. ture sweet, thoughtful, unplanned moments, that we can cherish forever. Though this isn't where my interest in photography began, it started long ago. I have always considered myself a creative. Since I was a little girl I loved drawing, painting, crafting, sewing, etc. So when I decided to switch my major to Photography after 2 years of nursing school, no one was surprised. And I fell in love with it! And that's how this all came to be. I want to connect with people. I want to make art. I want to document special moments, because they're happening all around us.

So thankful for this session with the L family. Mama told the kiddos to pick out their outfits, “Wear whatever makes you feel good!” she told them. They each brought something special to them - A teddy bear, a football and a quilt lovingly made in honor of J’s Dad. They wanted these photos to feel authentic, and when you bring your true self, we can capture some magic. ✨

After 5 years of loss and heartache, there is light and joy. ✨ This woman is one of my closest friends, more like a sister to me really. We have been friends for 20 years. We have been through marriages, divorce, heartbreak, deep sadness, pure happiness, pregnancies, parenting, the list goes on and on. But getting to document the joy and hope that this baby girl is bringing to my dear friend and her family might be the biggest honor of all. Amanda, you are a fu***ng GODDESS. 💫
