Ohio doesn’t yet have a statewide protection for the LGBTQ+ community, and some of the state’s laws still impact people with HIV, despite advancement in treatment. This month, iGEM at OSU interviewed Senator Bill DeMora (D-Columbus), a cosponsor of SB 70 which will prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Follow our journey for more interviews with experts in the field of HIV treatment and advocacy!
