Before you shoot ...
As notice to actors on a set with guns, this legal precedent allows an actor to be held liable for injury or death caused by a weapon in our hands - even if you don't pull the trigger. Ideally, use only prop guns on set. Or before you handle real weapons on set, get yourself training at a shooting range, so that you can be responsible for confirming that the weapon is truly safe, each time it's handed to you by the armorer on set.
A crew member will also be charged with involuntary manslaughter over the death of Halyna Hutchins.
