Something I'll never understand:

Homeowners having to pay for post construction window or house cleaning. With what builders/GCs are charging, your home should be move in ready. They should be responsible for paying to clean up their mess. Maybe that will teach them to be a little better about housekeeping and covering the windows. I can't tell you how many thousands of dollars of damaged windows I've came across because the trades are too lazy to take a few minutes to cover the windows.

Miss me with the, "that's common industry practice". All that tells me is that the industry is chalk full of crappy humans.

If you're a builder/GC that doesn't have a build move in ready on your dime, you suck at your job. Do better.

🎄✨ Christmas Eve Wrap-Up ✨🎄
Finished up a full house wash, patio cleaning, and interior/exterior window cleaning for the Willingham family here in Stephenville just in time for Christmas. Nothing better than heading into the holidays with a clean home and crystal-clear windows.
Grateful for the opportunity to work for great people and help get homes looking their best for family, friends, and holiday gatherings. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe, peaceful holiday. 🎅🎁

Wrapped up a full interior and exterior window cleaning for the Donald family on their beautiful property just outside Gorman.

This one included the main residence, plus the two wings branching off on either side, a party barn on one end and an office/apartment on the other. Lots of glass, high ceilings, and long sightlines that really come to life once everything’s cleaned up.

Jobs like this are a good reminder of how much clean windows impact the feel of a space, especially in homes designed to bring the outdoors in. Always appreciate the opportunity to work on properties like this.

🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

While doing a maintenance window cleaning for a customer, I came across this Christmas light installation and it’s a perfect example of why homeowners should ask how lights will be installed before hiring someone.

🔨 Staples should never go into shingles.
Stapling into the roof can:
• Create leaks
• Void roofing warranties
• Lead to attic moisture, rot, and long-term damage
• Cause issues long after the lights are taken down

Professional installers never pe*****te roofing materials, we use non-damaging clips designed for safe installation.

💡 And bulbs should point outward, not upward.
Upward-facing bulbs may be common, but they’re incorrect and unsafe. When bulbs point up, they:
• Collect rainwater and debris
• Fail faster due to trapped moisture and heat
• Look dimmer from the street
• Increase risk of socket corrosion

Outward-facing bulbs = brighter display, safer install, longer bulb life, and a clean professional look.

If you're hiring someone to hang your lights this season, ask them how they’ll attach lights to your roof and which way the bulbs will face. A few questions can save you a lot of headache, and protect your home. 🎄✨

Wrapped up this install for the Mercer family on Thanksgiving night, and of course, I walked off without grabbing finished photos. 😅

For this project, the customer supplied their own lights, and I handled the layout, sorting, installation, and setup to bring everything together clean and professionally. Their home looks great all lit up for the season. 🎄✨

All finished.

🍁🦃 Good morning & Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🦃🍁

Starting this holiday morning off in Hamilton at The Copper Garden Floral & Gifts, giving their windows a full interior/exterior cleaning to get everything shining for their big event this Saturday. Clear glass makes a huge difference when you’re welcoming guests — and this place is going to look incredible. ✨

Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing, and blessed Thanksgiving with family, friends, and good food. Enjoy your day! 🧡🙏
