Before the heavy rain gets here, check your drainage. Seriously.

When the ground gets saturated, all that extra water has to go somewhere. If gutters, yard drains, culverts, or drainage areas are clogged or dumping water toward your septic system, you can end up with slow drains, pooling water, or even a backup.

Before the storm:

✔️ Clear leaves and debris from drains & culverts
✔️ Make sure gutters/downspouts move water away from your septic area
✔️ Keep water from pooling around the tank or drain field
✔️ Go easy on laundry, long showers & heavy water use during the worst rain
✔️ Pay attention to slow drains, gurgling or sewage smells

A few minutes outside today could save you a really crappy weekend. 😅

Braiden is enjoying Fall Break this week, so naturally this picture popped up as a friendly reminder that breaks hit a little different when your parents own a septic company. 😂

Flashback to this summer when Braiden brought Briggs over and somehow they both ended up in Septic Plus shirts standing in front of a whole pallet of infiltrators. 🤣

Around here, bringing a friend over is risky. We might put both of y’all to work.
