Hi everyone! Next week on Tuesday the 27th, we'll be partnering with Veterans Support Services to host a Veterans Job Search Workshop from 9:30-10:30am in the CTC. Participants will learn how to utilize veterans' preference to be considered for government jobs that are not available to other applicants.

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We have lots going on this weekend For Onward March. On Saturday from 1130-330, Hometown Heroes-Milford, MI at the YMCA the theme is Gapping the Generations. Also on Saturday & Sunday Onward March will have a booth at the Highland HeyDays. Come on out and see us!

A 38-year-old woman had just dropped off her child at school when the child's father showed up, and the two got into an argument. The child's father allegedly then stabbed the woman several times in the upper body and neck area.

Onward March is working with HiredmyWay.com, a Detroit Venture Partners backed hiring firm that wants to help veterans. They would like to tailor a service offering to veterans. As such they need to learn about Veterans needs. They will be holding a roundtable from 0900 to 1030 this Thursday in Birmingham, Michigan. We are looking for between 7-10 vets who are between 18-25 years old. Can be either employed or unemployed. Please message me at [email protected]. Thanks
