A significant part of mitigating crisis events is a workforce that is comfortable operating in chaotic environments.

Medical emergencies sit at the top of the list of workplace crises. Today I had the opportunity to be trained by the HPD tac med cadre along with in tactical casualty care.

The better prepared you are, as a leader, the better your people will be.

Reflecting on the day this picture was taken, I spent the day in Compton with a client running for city council. We spoke about the obvious things like his platform, goals once on the council, and his overall desire to work on behalf of the city's citizens. All of that was great; however, what stood out to me the most was this.

1. Every community deserves leaders who have the needs of the community at heart 1st.

2. Compton, like many other cities, has so much unrealized potential; however, the potential is worthless without action.

3. The political landscape is ripe with new talent and voices that need to be heard and thats exactly what he is doing.

Helping candidates find their political voice is what we do at Cuffholdings LLC.

This message is for those of you who’ve been contemplating running for office but have been afraid to step out on the ledge.

These last two months we have been very productive working with a group of people who all want to serve their communities by running for, or supporting someone running for a local office.

We firmly believe that the individuals who sit on your local city council, school board, county board of supervisors, the sheriff, and district attorney have more immediate impact in a community, than anyone sitting in The White House. This is where we focus our efforts!

A successful political mail campaign starts with a great strategy, followed by effective messaging, and mail design. This is our sweet spot.
