How do you find an auctioneer you can trust with Mom and Dad’s house?
Start by doing a little homework.

I’m a licensed auctioneer in North Carolina and South Carolina, and here’s something a lot of people don’t realize: auction laws and licensing requirements can be different from one state to the next.

If your state licenses auctioneers, look for the state auctioneer list. Ask about education and experience. You can also ask an auctioneer you trust to help connect you with somebody in your area.

I’ve met auction professionals through the National Auction Association and through years of helping families put together sales in North Carolina and beyond. If I can help point you toward somebody reputable, ask me.

Auctioneering will humble you in a hurry, y'all, and that's probably one of the reasons I keep working at it.

Competing in the International Auctioneer Championship put me alongside some mighty talented auctioneers and reminded me that there's always more to learn about this craft.

What a week at the 77th Annual National Auction Association International Auctioneers Conference & Show.

I'm incredibly honored to be bringing home the National Auction Association Marketing Competition Award for Short Form Video for Social Media. 🏆

They say great auctioneering starts long before the first bid, and I believe that. Strong marketing connects the right buyers with the right sellers.

I also had the privilege of competing as Contestant #78 in the International Auctioneer Championship (IAC). I didn't make the finals this year, but stepping onto that auction block alongside so many talented auctioneers was an honor and an experience that will make me better.

Heading home grateful for the friendships, the encouragement, and the opportunity to keep growing.
