Children's Individualized Teaching Experience CITE

Children's Individualized Teaching Experience CITE New Families welcome for Special or General Education tutoring and advocacy services, from grades k thru college. Hence my belief and foundation of teaching.

Online tutoring is available as well as in person. Not only have I had 10 successful years as an Special Education teacher/ tutor but I was a Special Education child with multiple disabilities. Now I Dual Masters in Special and General Education. Also, I have received training in Orton Gillingham Reading Recovery and Teaching Reading through Fiction at Columbia University's Teacher College. In wor

king towards the students’ goals the lessons will be brained based in their design. Multiple levels of conscious and unconscious learning will be going on as I help them to develop neurological connections to overcome or bypass if you will what may be hampering the learning. This cannot solve all needs, just like the body cannot regrow limbs but it can compensate. C.I.T.E. is my creation to help children without the challenges of mainstream education. Whether a child has Special Needs or requires some extra help C.I.T.E. is here to ensure he or she becomes successful in Education. My services will not only help students reach their goals, but also teach them how to understand and adapt the world around them to their needs. Working from my home or coming to yours I can keep the price fair and comfortable surroundings.

Shocking Study Reveals How Cellphones Affect Children’s Developing Brains

In 2025, a Korean pediatric neurologist made a startling discovery that could change how parents think about technology and health. Children’s skulls are far thinner than adults’, and as a result, cellphone radiation penetrates almost their entire developing brain. This means that the very devices we give children to learn, play, and stay connected may be exposing their brains to far more radiation than previously understood.

For years, scientists have debated the impact of cellphone use on health, but most safety guidelines were created with adults in mind. What this study reveals is that children are uniquely vulnerable. Their thinner skulls and still-developing nervous systems cannot block or absorb radiation the way adult skulls can, leaving their brains more directly exposed.

The implications are both concerning and urgent. Continuous exposure to cellphone radiation in childhood could potentially influence brain development, increase stress on delicate neural networks, and raise long-term health risks. While more research is needed to fully understand the consequences, this finding highlights the importance of precaution.

Simple steps, like using speakerphone, limiting screen time, or encouraging children to text instead of holding phones close to their heads, can make a big difference. Parents and educators may also want to rethink how early and how often children are exposed to these devices.

This discovery is not meant to spark fear but to inspire awareness. Technology is here to stay, but understanding how it interacts with the most vulnerable among us empowers us to use it wisely. As science uncovers more about these invisible forces, we have the chance to shape a healthier, safer future for our children.

With the upcoming school year, about to begin I urge parents to be involved with your students education. It doesn’t take a lot if you pick them up from school or an after school event as you drive home talk with them ask them about their day and use specific questions. For example, what did you read in English today? What was the lesson goal? If they can’t remember you use more guiding questions such as, “Did the teacher ask about inferencing?”

The simple time with your son or daughter will develop that recall show that you care in and are interested in the learning and relationship. In turn it’ll make the child more interested in learning.
