Introducing...the Small Business Solar Accelerator!

We’re excited to announce a new program aimed at helping small, local businesses thrive. Our Small Business Solar Accelerator is designed to help eligible small businesses move from initial interest to project completion on an accelerated timeline, in order to take advantage of the available solar incentives. Through this program, businesses are positioned to maximize the current 40% Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and take control of their energy future.

"Customers also learn that converting to renewable energy is an investment, but one that eventually pays for itself in monthly savings — and even that initial investment can be whittled down depending on the incentives and tax credits that particular state offers.

Some solar customers also take advantage of what’s known as a prepaid lease, paying a lump sum up front for a multi-year solar arrangement; a third party then owns and maintains the equipment for an initial term to claim commercial tax benefits, and the customer receives no monthly solar bills.

“The second you start paying, you’re paying less on the loan than you would on an electric bill. That means you’re getting savings every month,” Manzer explained. “Then, once you pay the thing off, it’s an asset you own, and it continues to make electricity for however many years after the loan.”"
