As we celebrate the hope and light of Christmas, we’re grateful for the blessings of this past year, our people, our partners, and the work we’re entrusted to do.

Our office will be closed December 24–26 as we observe the holiday. We’ll reopen on Monday, December 29.

We have a lot to be thankful for this year.

When your family’s boat is dead and drifting on the lake during a violent electric storm, grateful doesn’t begin to describe the feeling of seeing a rescue boat cut through the driving rain toward you.

That’s why we were especially glad to hear that the first responders from Stanly Rescue are moving into a new facility, and even more grateful that we could provide a new sign for their building.

Today, we’re also thankful for the people who make our work possible: our customers who trust us, and our employees whose skill and dedication turn that trust into something real every day.

Roofman was filmed right down the road in Pineville, NC and we’re proud to have played a part in bringing childhood memories back for every “Toys ‘R’ Us kid.”

This footing marks the first stage of the Stanley County Rescue sign, donated by Casco. We hope this project helps the community recognize and honor first responders, serving as a visible reminder of the incredible work they do every day, often without us fully realizing their impact.

Take a moment to reach out and thank a first responder. They are always there for us, even in moments we don’t yet know we will need them.

We cannot wait to welcome you into the new YMCA tomorrow morning!

Please be patient as we work through details of getting open and having crowds. There will be workers throughout the week completing some final items. We are also still working on getting our phone numbers transferred to our new location.
