If you are in the Vet Space you have probably seen this 90s tik tok that has gone viral!
But here is what you didn't see...
And why my FIRST concern is actually for the doctor in that scenario!

Here is the link to my breakdown: https://youtu.be/mtM4KsirRIY

In this Vetripreneur breakdown, Jeffrey L. Munn, DVM, examines:

✅ The communication mistakes that escalated the situation
✅ Why every team member represents the entire practice
✅ How the team could have acknowledged the delay and offered resolution
✅ How overbooking, understaffing and burnout may affect the veterinarian
✅ The 15-minute hard stop that could prevent a similar crisis

The central lesson: explaining or defending the situation isn’t enough. Clients need acknowledgment, a clear plan and actionable next steps.

How does your practice prevent prolonged waits and communication breakdowns? Share your protocols—and what you noticed in this video—in the comments.

Is your veterinary practice becoming ANEMIC… and you don’t even know it?

There’s a growing GAP in veterinary medicine.

📈 Revenue has held up.
📉 Veterinary visits have been declining.

For many practices, price increases have helped bridge that gap.

But underneath the revenue number, something may be changing.

Fewer visits.
Not enough new clients entering the practice.
And potentially fewer of the RIGHT clients you actually want to serve.

Think of new clients as the fuel that keeps the fire burning.

🔥 How many new clients did YOUR practice gain last month?

Do you know?

And more importantly…

Was it enough?

Over the past few Vetripreneur Monday Morning Minutes, I've been breaking down a simple system:

KNOW your number → FIND your ideal client → INVITE more like them → WATCH what happens.

Before you celebrate growing revenue, look underneath it.

Your practice may be telling you something.

Find the gap. Know your number. Then fuel the fire. 🔥

The Referral Letter Recipe: How to Get More of Your BEST Clients

You found your HVC — your High-Value Client.

Now what?

Instead of spending more money advertising to strangers, start with the clients who already know you, trust you and value what you do.

My referral-letter recipe requires just three things:

✉️ One sheet of letterhead
🖊️ A pen
💳 Five business cards

Then follow five simple steps:

Make it PERSONAL
Tell them WHY you value them
Make the ASK
Include the 20–20 offer
THANK them — genuinely

No automation. No generic email blast.

Handwrite it. Sign it. Stamp it. Mail it.

Then watch what happens.

Most HVCs may send you one or two great referrals.

But occasionally, you'll see something different: 2–3 referrals from the same client in just a couple of weeks.

Pay attention.

You may have just struck GOLD. 🏆

You may have found a SUPER SPREADER.

And that's where we're going next.

FIND YOUR MICHELLE 🎯

What if growing your veterinary practice isn't about getting more clients?

What if it's about getting more of the RIGHT clients?

I call my ideal client avatar Michelle.

She's not necessarily my wealthiest client.

She's the client who:

• Knows our value
• Values our team
• Respects our time
• Trusts our recommendations
• Appreciates individualized care
• Recognizes competence, confidence and warmth

Here's where this gets interesting.

We can see 20 wonderful clients and one difficult "Bernie"—then drive home thinking about Bernie.

But start intentionally looking for Michelle on your schedule and your focus begins to change.

You notice the clients you LOVE serving.

You start recognizing what they have in common.

And eventually you ask a much better business question:

How do I get MORE people like this?

That's what this week's Vetripreneur Masterclass is about.

🎯 Your assignment:

Look at your schedule this week.

Find ONE Michelle.

Write down her name.

Then answer one question:

WHY do I love having this person as a client?

That's where your avatar begins.

And next week, we're going to do something with her...

5 business cards.
1 handwritten letter.
A referral strategy I've used for years. Not just new clients.. NEW MICHELLES!

📈 Do you know your most important growth number?

Most veterinarians know yesterday's revenue.

Many know payroll.

Some know their average transaction.

But very few know how many NEW CLIENTS they gained last month.

That number matters.

Every new client represents future wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, referrals—and relationships that can last for years.

This week's Vetripreneur Monday Morning Minute challenges you to find one simple number and begin tracking it intentionally.

It may be the first step toward growing the practice you've always wanted.

🎥 Watch the 90-second video below.

If you find it valuable, share it with another veterinarian.

One practical idea. Every Monday.

🔥 How do you bring more 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹 to the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲?

Veterinarians are trained primarily as caregivers—and then many of us become business owners.

We love learning how to diagnose, treat, and care for patients. But we don’t always give that same attention to the numbers that determine whether our practices are growing, maintaining…or quietly shrinking.

What is the 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 you should ask this week? The number you need to know..

If you don’t know the answer— watch Vetripreneur Monday Minute #1.

It’s only 2 minutes, but it may change which number you look at first this week.

Rejected. Told he wasn't ready. Told he wasn't eligible. Matthew heard "but" one too many times — and decided to fall in love with the process anyway.

This is his icebreaker speech at Gold Mine Toastmasters, and it hits different.
