I began sewing as a child when my grandmother introduced me to the art of making hand sewed quilts. I learned to use my mother’s Kenmore machine with a knee control before my feet fully reached the floor when seated. Later she sent me off for lessons with a neighborhood lady who taught more advanced sewing techniques. I started my own business, Sally’s Sewing and Crafts in 2012, after forty plus y

ears of sewing for myself, friends and employment as a professional seamstress. Services include seamstress and tailoring of formal wear, everyday and work clothing. Custom made 18 inch doll clothes for American Girl dolls with a selection of in stock outfits. Special orders accepted from my large library of patterns. Other doll sizes on request. Sewing of leather goods including holsters, gun belts and bags. We offer sewing machine parts, accessories and expert repair. Specializing in vintage mechanical machines.
