Louis Gordon (front, left) with his 5 sons. Louis and his father, Harry, started L. Gordon Iron & Metal in Statesville, NC in 1917 with a horse and buggy. His 5 sons ran the business after his passing in 1964. The company is now run by the 4th generation and still going strong in Statesville, Hickory, Connelly Springs, and Mt. Airy, NC.
