An Important Message to Our Valued Septic Customers,
First and foremost, thank you for your continued trust and support since 2018. It is because of you that we have been able to serve this community, and that means everything to us.
We are reaching out today with some difficult news that directly impacts the service we provide and the pricing we are able to offer.

WHAT'S HAPPENING
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Wastewater treatment facilities across Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, and surrounding counties have progressively stopped accepting septic haulers, leaving us with fewer and fewer options for responsible waste disposal:
• The City of Hickory is no longer accepting us as a hauler.
• The City of Newton is currently down for repairs and unavailable.
• The City of Morganton turned us away due to an excess of haulers overwhelming their facility.
• Caldwell County informed us months ago that they are unable to accommodate septic haulers.
As a result, we are now required to travel over 40 miles — one way — just to legally and responsibly dump. That distance, combined with significantly increased dump fees at the facilities that do remain open, has made it impossible for us to continue offering the affordable pricing we have always been proud to provide.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Effective immediately, we will be handling service requests on a case-by-case basis. Pricing will reflect the true cost of travel, disposal fees, and operations. We do not take this lightly — this is not a decision made for profit. It is a decision made out of necessity in order to continue operating at all.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. This is our livelihood, and we are committed to being transparent with you every step of the way.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is bigger than one company — it affects every homeowner and business on a septic system in our region. Septic haulers are an essential part of North Carolina's infrastructure. Without us, communities without access to municipal sewer systems have no safe or legal way to manage wastewater.
We are asking you — our customers, our neighbors — to make your voice heard. Please consider contacting your local municipality and county commissioners and urging them to:
✅ Reopen or expand wastewater treatment plant access to licensed septic haulers
✅ Work toward long-term, sustainable disposal solutions for rural communities
✅ Recognize septic haulers as the essential service providers we are

A simple phone call or email from a constituent carries far more weight than you might think. Please let them know this issue affects your home, your property, and your community.
We are grateful beyond words for the support you have shown us since 2018. We will continue fighting to serve you in any way we can.
With sincere appreciation,
Michael R. Killian Jr.
