Something we’ve been tracking lately are incidents of violence in the workplace. Workplace violence prevention is becoming a much bigger conversation across multiple industries — and for good reason.

Approximately 𝟲𝟴% 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁, 𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀.

Organizations that implement proactive security strategies are often far better positioned to recognize warning signs early.

One thing we’ve noticed lately:

Once someone gets through the perimeter, it’s that much harder to know who’s a security risk and who isn’t.

Without proper security, anyone who gets in could be:
-wandering into areas they shouldn’t be
-moving unnoticed through shared spaces
-blending into normal activity

That’s a very different kind of awareness challenge than most organizations were built for.
