❄️Service Update as of 5pm Sunday❄️
Please know that we have actively been monitoring the weather in our county all weekend. Based on the latest updates from trusted local weather teams, county officials, and TXDOT, the guidance is consistent: stay warm, stay home, and stay safe. There have already been numerous vehicle accidents across the county, and road conditions are not expected to improve anytime soon.
Please know these decisions are never made lightly. They are made out of an abundance of caution and prayer for ALL things considered - our employees safely getting to and from work, protecting our equipment from severe cold damage, and ensuring our crews can reach your homes and return safely at the end of the day. While I have some awesome drivers, even the most experienced ones have no business operating roughly 50,000lbs on dangerous and unpredictable roadways. And yes, the crews on the back are beyond amazing and typically work in all types of weather conditions… they also have no business lifting on average 10+ tons of trash in below freezing temperatures.

After careful prayer and consideration of ALL factors, we will NOT BE RUNNING MONDAY (1/26/26).

There will NOT be a make-up day - we will see our Monday customers on your normal Thursday pick-up, weather permitting. Those of you with *only* a Monday collection (Clear Creek - I’m looking at you) please keep a close eye out for another update via email with further service information for this week.

As of right now, we do not feel comfortable making a solid decision for the rest of the week until the temperature actually starts to consistently rise all across the county.

If you are sharing into your neighborhood page - we thank you so much - but please make sure you’re sharing the original post and not just a screenshot in case there are updates/edits made.

If this information finds you uneasy and you disagree, I truly am not sorry. The safety of our crews is way more important to me than anyone else’s negative opinion. The safety of our trucks not being on the road to be an unnecessary hazard to those in the vehicle or around it is way more important to me than your trash sitting for an extra three days.

To those that are still reading and understand - I thank you in advance for your patience as we work to make the best decisions to keep everyone safe. We take our jobs seriously and we never take for granted that you choose our company as your waste collector.

Stay warm.

There are four different recycling centers in the county
♻️NORTH - Precinct 1 in Conroe
♻️WEST - Precinct 2 in Magnolia
♻️SOUTH - Precinct 3 in Spring

This one specifically I’m sharing about is the Conroe/North Montgomery County Recycle Center backed by Commissioner Robert Walker.
Let’s all do our part in reducing the waste that ends up in landfills - this service is FREE to all Montgomery County residents!

We’ve had numerous (thankfully small and manageable) trash fires from improper disposal of all kinds of items.
PLEASE be aware of what you’re throwing away. Not everything can go out for your TRASH collection.
Sanitation workers consistently stay top ranking in the “Most Dangerous Jobs” list; please do your part to not contribute to that.
Praying for this crew as they move forward.

The Spring Fire Department urged residents to not throw hazardous materials, like acid or ammonia, in the trash.

Steve Jobs once said “Great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people.” And whether you like him or not, the statement is one-hundred percent true. We wouldn’t be here, celebrating FIVE YEARS, without the team we have - and that includes our employees, our vendors, our customers, the people we have in our personal circle, and most importantly the big man upstairs.

Thank you all for making this another successfully trashy year.

🥶Service Update as of 6pm Tuesday☃️
A good majority of the snow has melted while the sun’s been out and warming things up, so we hope everyone had fun in it while it lasted! However, the temperature is expected to drop below freezing throughout the night and stay that way well into tomorrow morning. Because of this, Montgomery County is under a Severe Weather Advisory, with all eyes pointing toward the roadways and the possible black ice the night will bring with it.
Our crews are usually headed to their routes around 6am, but we want to keep them off the road at least until daylight (7:15am) and we want to keep our big trucks off the road until we know for certain they are safely passable. Taking all of these things into consideration, our WEDNESDAY ROUTES WILL BE SLIGHTLY DELAYED. Wednesday customers, please have your trash at the curb by 8am (and maybe pop your lid open real quick to get the ice off).
I will post an early morning update *if* we need to delay further for any reason.

❄️Service Update as of 9pm Sunday❄️

The latest weather updates show a winter storm warning beginning 6pm Monday and lasting until 6pm Tuesday for every county in Southeast Texas - potentially leading to dangerous to impassable road conditions.

After careful prayer and consideration of ALL factors, we will be CLOSED TUESDAY (for both the office and operations). There will NOT be a make-up day - we will see our Tuesday customers on your normal Friday pick-up, weather permitting.

As of right now, we do not feel comfortable making a solid decision for the rest of the week until the storm actually hits Tuesday.

MONDAY customers, we will see you tomorrow as usual. Please make sure your trash is out and on time, just in case we are unable to make it back out to those of you with a twice a week pick-up.

Keep an eye out on Tuesday for the next update.

Best advice - hope for the best but prepare for the worst and be ready to stay put for a few days.

Please know that we are actively monitoring the weather forecasted to arrive in our area this upcoming week. As of right now (9am Saturday) we will run our regular MONDAY schedule as usual and any announcements regarding changes in the service schedule for Tuesday & on will be made as early as possible as we make our way through the next few days.
As always, if you are sharing into your neighborhood page - we thank you so much - but please make sure you’re sharing the actual post and not just a SS in case there are updates/edits made. Remember, if we can’t make it to the office we can’t send emails out or answer phones (same for if we lose electricity), so our only form of communication will be on our cell phones updating here on FB and the main page of our website.
