First organized as the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce in 1934, the Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 86 years of service to the Montgomery County area. The humble membership of three businesses in 1934 has grown to over 1,100 members dedicated to improving the economic quality of life in Montgomery County. The mission of the Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commer

ce has been and always will be to strengthen the economic environment and quality of life in Montgomery County. The Chamber has actively promoted the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area in business and industrial development and continues to provide our community with a well-balanced and wholesome quality of life. The Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit, community-based organization devoted to enhancing the economic growth of the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area. Striving to truly involve the community in all decisions, the Chamber is governed by a member-elected Board of Directors that determine policies, set goals, and steers the path of the Chamber. The board also employs a president who hires a professional staff to handle the daily operations of the Chamber. The Chamber’s goals and yearly planned program of work are accomplished through the collective efforts of the board, staff, and hundreds of dedicated volunteers.

With in-home care services that bring comfort, companionship, and joy to seniors, Seniors Helping Seniors Greater Woodlands is helping older adults live independently while staying connected to their community. Their caregivers—many of whom are seniors themselves—provide compassionate support, meaningful companionship, and moments that brighten everyday life.

We are ONE month away from ATHENA Leadership Award Luncheon!

One of the core principles of ATHENA is the importance of helping improve the quality of life for others. Each year, we select a nonprofit beneficiary whose mission reflects that commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around us. We're honored to announce that this year's ATHENA beneficiary is Hands of Justice. Through the ATHENA Market, 20% of vendor proceeds and 100% of proceeds from our Mystery Gift Pull will directly support their important work.

Hands of Justice is a survivor-led organization that provides hope, support, and pathways to healing for survivors of human trafficking. Their comprehensive services include educational scholarships, survivor-led support groups, trauma therapy, advocacy, case management, and much more. Join us at ATHENA as we celebrate leadership, empower women, and support a mission that brings hope and healing to our community.
