With the 250th July 4th celebrations this weekend, we will be closed for the weekend. Dave will be taking calls as he can but he will, also, be in the hayfield. Please be patient as it is a busy time for all and we like to celebrate, too. Please enjoy the festivities and stay safe while celebrating!

Due to a funeral on Friday, June 19th, we will be closed for the day.

We will be closed until Tuesday, May 26th. Dave will probably have his phone handy all weekend but we have family and friends coming in for several area events.....one being Wagons for Warriors tomorrow, a family reunion on Sunday/senior graduation party, and a cemetery dinner. It will be a very busy weekend remembering family/friends who have passed on while visiting with those who are still here to make memories with. We wish everyone a wonderful weekend and safe travels.

Dave Marlin and Pat Zapalac have made it to Moline for the Gathering of the Green. I hear it was quite the trip with the wind, snow, ice, and freezing temps. We are praying for all of those who were stuck last night and were waiting hours for help. Dave felt so bad not being able to help everyone. He helped who he could but he was, also, pulling a trailer full of parts so it made it more difficult. Illinois definitely needs to get their act together and stop wasting funds. The National Guard needed to be called out to help those who were stranded in such terrible temps. Northern states are supposed to be better prepared than the Southern states but Illinois got an F- for their response to their own citizens.

So an update on Kevin....he is back in the hospital. He is bored and needs his spirits lifted. If you can send him a get well card, a note of encouragement, or a story he might look back on and laugh about to our address, we will take them all to him to show him that people do care about him. That he is missed from our business. He interacted with so many over the years and helped so many when they needed help....here at the office, over the phone, at shows, at Farmfest, etc. If nothing else, please keep praying that he gets back to enjoying life.

The weather has turned to true winter here. We are at 5 degrees with an 11 below wind chill right now. We have another round of snow predicted to come in tonight which should be bringing us more snow and colder temps. Please stay safe out there. Nothing is worth your life. We are still answering phones but we, also, have animals to care for so we may not hear the phone over the equipment. Just keep trying if you can't get ahold of us the first time around.
