Day one of the 8th cohort of the Healthcare Innovation Sprint is in the books ⚕️💡

Yesterday, students from 12 colleges and universities across Arkansas spent the day learning directly from healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and innovators shaping the future of healthcare. They explored topics like patient safety, healthcare challenges, innovation, and what it really takes to improve systems and experiences in healthcare.

One of the biggest highlights of the day was the opportunity to sit down with the Conway Regional Health System executive leadership team to ask questions and hear firsthand about the real challenges healthcare systems are navigating every day.

Now, students are beginning to identify real problems worth solving as they work toward developing solutions they’ll pitch live at Demo Day later this week.

It was so exciting to see a full room of almost 70 students and entrepreneurs join us for Video Content 101 with Paul Rasmussen this week at UCA.

Paul covered practical concepts like the exposure triangle, using sound to create emotion, and how consistency beats perfection every time, all in a way that made video creation feel approachable and doable.
Whether attendees were interested in personal branding, content creation, or just becoming more confident behind the camera, this session gave them real tools they can start using immediately.
