We had a great time at the Business Expo last week!

Our team loved getting to connect with local business owners, community members, and familiar faces throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Conductor booth, said hello, and got a no-cost headshot while you were there. And hopefully got to learn about some of the workshops and resources we have coming up that could drive your business forward!

Last week's 10X Growth Accelerator session was all about helping Cohort 10 turn insight into action.

During Session 5, cohort members worked with Jeff Standridge, Kenny Kinley, and Jakob Michaelis to set KPI targets against benchmarks, build action plans, calculate break-even points, and identify transformational digital or technology enhancements for their businesses.

These sessions are designed to help leaders step back from the day-to-day, look closely at the numbers, and make intentional decisions that support sustainable growth.

Year-end has a way of sneaking up on business owners, especially when it comes to taxes and financial planning.

Join us for Finish Strong: Your Year-End Financial Plan, a practical workshop designed to help you get ahead before December 31.

Carter Lance, owner of Strategic Tax Planning PLLC, will cover how to estimate your tax bill now, decide what you should be setting aside, and avoid an April surprise. You’ll also learn about commonly missed deductions like mileage, home office expenses, and everyday business costs, plus how better record keeping can help you capture deductions you’ve already earned. We’ll also dig into what your business is actually making, including how to calculate your effective hourly rate and better understand what it would take to hire, grow, and stay profitable.

A full room, virtual attendees, and a whole lot of brainstorming. 👏

Today’s Modern Marketing for Small Businesses workshop was all about helping business owners think beyond their entire marketing strategy relying on their social media pages, and build a marketing approach that uses the channels that work best to reach their audience!

Kate walked through the foundations of small business marketing, from planning ahead and understanding your audience to creating intentional content and using the right tools to stay consistent. The best part? The room jumped in. Attendees shared ideas, asked questions, brainstormed together, and helped one another think through real marketing challenges in their own businesses.

Everyone left with practical advice, fresh suggestions, and papers full of ideas to take back and put into action.
