Most of you know Kevin Roper either through Gary and I or the auction. He was the guy that took Gary to all of his chemo treatments. But he is also a friend more like family. As most of you know he lost both of his legs below the knee about 2 years ago. He had been having some recurrent problems still with circulation in his legs. He had a stint put in the left leg a week or so ago and had to have bypass surgery in the right yesterday. His mom contacted me this morning requesting additional prayers due to some complications. He will have surgery again tomorrow because the bypass didn't work and he has developed a blood clot in his lung. Kevin is an awesome guy, Gary loved him and he's like a brother to me. He was always there for us and I wanted to ask each and every one's my friends to take a minute and bow their head in prayers for God to touch and heal him. Kevin is a good Christian man and spent many hours praying for Gary and I. Also pray for his mom as she is with him at piedmont rockdale. Thanks to each of you for your prayers...it means a lot to me...but it's especially important for Kevin and his mom.

It seems I only have sad news to post lately. I was contacted this morning by Jeff Scott's cousin who lives out of state to let me know that within a few days of Elaine (Jeff's mom) passing away Jeff also went home to be with the Lord. The Clark's thought a lot of Jeff as we did both his parents. At this time a service hasn't been planned. Thank you all for all the prayers for Jeff and his family. They were all three a big part of the auction world for many years and will be terribly missed.

I received another sad phone call this morning. Jeff Scott called to let me know that his mom, Elaine Scott , went home to be with the Lord this morning. He wanted me to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep Jeff in your prayers over the next days, weeks and months. He needs prayers for comfort but also for some heath issues he is experiencing.

Jeff Scott just called me and ask that I thank everyone for the prayers for his mom Elaine. He said she was still in Atlanta in the hospital. I verified she did have a stroke that badly affected her left side. He said that she wasn't doing well and was making little to no improvement. He asked that I please ask each of you to continue to pray for her. He was very worried and his health is also not very good. I ask that you please continue to lift his mom up in prayer and also pray for Jeff. He is going through a lot right now. Thank you.

Ann Bray, Jim Brays wife posted this just a few hours ago.

To all my family and friends, that did not get the message about Jim (my husband), he passed away round 8:00P.M. this evening. Please keep me in your prayers, as I recover.

I know probably most of you remember Jim and Ann. They were both auctioneers, had auctions for years and sold and attended Ole Hound Auction regularly. The Clark's and Ole Hound thought a lot of Jim and Ann and we ask you to take a few minutes to lift Ann up in prayers.

I failed to ask but I feel sure it's ok to share a prayer request. Jeff Scott just called me to tell me his mom, Elaine Scott, had been flown to the hospital in Atlanta (I believe he said she'd had a stroke). He asked that we pray for her. To remind y'all she was Frank Scott's wife and Jeff's mom. They were regulars at the auction and Frank and Elaine also owned an auction in Conyers for years. Jeff also needs our prayers as he is also having some health problems. Please take a moment now to pray for Elaine and Jeff.
