💃🕺 WELL… I GUESS THE SECRET IS OUT. WE’RE DANCING!!! 🕺💃
I am SO excited to officially announce that EJ Williams and I are partners for WCTE PBS Let’s Dance 2027! 🎉
And y’all… this is about to be a JOURNEY. 😂
Between now and February, EJ and I are going to be putting in MONTHS of work — choosing music, choreographing, practicing, sweating, probably arguing over counts 😂, practicing some more, and quite literally dancing our booties off to put on a performance that we hope you’ll never forget.
But the best part of this entire thing isn’t actually the dancing.
It’s what we’re dancing FOR. ❤️
Let’s Dance is a fundraiser benefiting WCTE PBS and public broadcasting right here in our community. Last year, this event raised nearly $70,000 to support public media, and this year we want to help make an even BIGGER impact.
So consider this your warning:
WE ARE GOING TO NEED YOU. 😂❤️
We’re going to need our friends.
We’re going to need our families.
We’re going to need local businesses.
We’re going to need sponsors.
We’re going to need people sharing our posts.
We’re going to need people showing up.
And when the time comes, we’re going to need this entire community behind TEAM HEATHER & EJ. 💃🕺
Because THIS is what I love about events like this.
Yes, we get to dress up.
Yes, we get to dance.
Yes, we are absolutely going to be competitive. 😂
But underneath all of that, it’s charity. It’s community. It’s people coming together and using something FUN to support something that matters.
And THAT is something worth working for.
So over the next several months, we’re taking all of you along for the ride — the rehearsals, the disasters, the sore muscles, the behind-the-scenes moments, the fundraising, and hopefully one heck of a performance at the end of it all.
