Very excited to promote the conversation of improving the fire service. When a department looks into my software, I preface the conversation with a contract. I genuinely do want the department to do as best as it can on the fireground, however, to agree to terms, we must have an agreement. The agreement simply states that you will use my software and deploy it in your jurisdiction with the understanding by all your people that this is non-punitive.

That tiny step gives me hope that I just met someone that cares about the fire service as much as I do. It lets me know that we are in this together for the betterment of the fire service future. Lastly, it ensures me that when I’m in diapers, someone will come for me. 🔥👍

It’s election time! I putting myself out there to help make a difference in the fire service. I identified a gap in our new era of fire fighting and spend my own money to develope software to fix it. Making it affordable and working with jurisdictions budget cycles, allows it to reach every department regardless of size. You could see it as an opportunity to make money, or you can read up on it and ask why doesn’t every department have this? We deserve to measure our performance in a non-punitive format to improve outcome for civilian lives’ sake.

Let’s be honest, rules aren’t forever. If you don’t adapt and change with the current times, then you become obsolete. When saving unprotected civilian lives requires you to do something more “dangerous” than 40 years ago, you change the rules to make sure the crews are educated on the risks. Why? Because it’s worth the risk.

I would be very interested in the results of the pilot program, resulting in Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue moving forward with body cameras. Most departments have a ban on 'go-pro' cameras for firefighters but why? Is it potential liability? Controlling the narrative? Is the training value worth the risk?

This timeline is generated automatically from real incident data—radio traffic, CAD, and what actually happened on fire scene.

No guessing. No rewriting history. Just the truth.

I built this because I got tired of watching us repeat the same mistakes. We say “we’ll talk about it later”… and then we never do. .

Meanwhile, the same issues show up in NIOSH reports over and over again.

Fireground Analytics turns every incident into a learning opportunity. It can also support rescue survey and mayday tracking, so those close calls actually go somewhere and mean something.

We don’t have a training problem. We have a feedback problem. This fixes that.

Very exciting news!

Fireground Analytics is now partnering with Smart Firefighting

We’re offering free pilot programs for departments. Your data stays yours—we do not retain it.

The platform is aligned with Neris v1 and integrates with efforts like the Firefighter Rescue Survey and The Firefighter Mayday project.

Our goal is to help departments use their fireground data to support:
• ISO improvement
• Accreditation efforts
• Budget justification
• Recruitment and staffing decisions
• Rising apparatus costs

Another key benefit—this is designed to be non-punitive. Line officers can get immediate feedback to support performance and training.

Chiefs, if you're looking to get more value out of your incident data, let’s connect.

Join the Smart Public Safety community connecting firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, operators, and industry partners to accelerate technology adoption and innovation in public safety.

Check out what UL FSRI is doing! “Seconds count on the fireground. Our goal was to simulate the residential fire environment under controlled conditions, measure the impact from firefighting tactics to victim survivability, and give the fire service simple, trustworthy guidance they can use on their next call,” Principal Research Engineer Keith Stakes said.
