The Fresh Coast Film Festival is a wrap, and we’re thrilled to have been part of it. 🎥

The festival featured documentaries, short films, filmmaker Q&As, outdoor excursions, and environmental advocacy panels at venues throughout Downtown Traverse City and the Boardman Lake District.

Mr. Chain’s Blue Stanchions, Plastic Chain, and Sign Adapters helped organize crowd flow and support quick transitions between events across multiple venues.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Fresh Coast Film Festival and give back to our Northern Michigan community. 💙

The event brings together hundreds of students from across the region to hear from Governor Gretchen Whitmer and local leaders, offering a closer look at how business and government shape our communities. 🤝

Our Industrial Stanchions and Plastic Chain helped keep everything running smoothly by guiding foot traffic, defining pathways, and supporting overall organization. 🔗

We’d like to congratulate our President and his wife, Ryan Schultz and Niki Schultz, who received the 2025 Outstanding Citizen Award and escorted the governor into the event. 👏

After 33 years with Mr. Chain, Bambi Steffen is entering retirement! 🥳

Since starting in 1992, she’s done it all. From production to shipping to HR, all while playing a key role in order entry.

When reflecting on her time here, Bambi noted how much the company has grown and how many great people she’s had the chance to work with. 🤝

In retirement, she’s looking forward to spending more time with family, especially her grandkids. 🫶

When traffic cones go missing, we don’t just stand by. 🦺

In Big Rapids, Michigan, the Hersey Township Fire Department had 7 traffic cones taken from the scene of a downed power line.

The Department shared in an announcement: “These cones are critical safety equipment used to protect the public and first responders during emergencies.” And kindly asked for their return.

When Mr. Chain’s President, Ryan Schultz, heard about the situation, he didn’t hesitate to contact the Department’s Fire Chief, expressing that “We are happy to donate several of our cones to help ensure these situations are managed effectively.”

The Department agreed and now have 7 new cones to deploy. 🚧

Our President reflects, “As a northern Michigan company, we believe in supporting our community and are committed to helping keep our emergency personnel and residents safe whenever possible.” 🧡
