👻Keep your costume family friendly! No hyper-realistic weaponry of any kind, no "messy" costumes with blood or slime that would be difficulty to clean, and no revealing or risque costumes.

The school year is just a few days away and every year more than 14,000 children are treated for backpack related injuries (Us consumer product safety commission).

We've given you tips on what type of backpack is best, but did you know the way a backpack is loaded can also help reduce injury?

🎒 Load the heaviest items towards the back of the back pack (next to your child's back) lightest items should be furthest away and loose items such as pencil cases and water bottles can go into pockets located on the backpack.

🎒 Arrange books and materials so they don't easily slide in your kid's backpack

🎒Backpacks should never weigh more than 10% of body weight, so a kiddo who weighs 100 pounds should only carry 10 pounds at maximum. If it is too heavy on a regular basis, consider a wheeled backpack!
