Just when you thought 2026 had no surprises…

I ended up on Fox evening news (Channel 26 – Houston) talking about the McRib lawsuit, yes, the one claiming McDonald’s might be getting sued because the McRib doesn’t actually contain any real rib meat and that calling it a “rib” might be… misleading!

Apparently, a handful of folks think a sandwich shaped like ribs should maybe… actually have ribs?

Lawyers are now arguing that the McRib, that elusive BBQ-slathered icon of fast-food rarity, might be more marketing magic than premium pork.

Here’s my segment:

McDonald's has been hit with a lawsuit over their popular McRib sandwich, which claims the chain misleads customers by implying rib meat is used to craft the patty.
