City of Coral Springs Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update #7
Coral Springs, FL – The City of Coral Springs is committed to protecting and serving the public by providing information, resources and necessary precautions related to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the City of Coral Springs declared Emergency Order 2020-9, closing all fitness studios, dance studios, gymnasiums or any other place of business that has or hosts individual or group physical activity, is hereby ordered closed.
As the situation rapidly changes and information is made available, the City will continue to react accordingly by issuing closures, suspensions and emergency orders.
Testing
To ensure the health and wellness of our community, Broward Health and Cleveland Clinic Coral Springs are extending mobile, drive-through testing for our community by appointment only.
Broward Health - Effective immediately, individuals must register by calling 954-320-5730 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and further instructions will be provided for testing, including location.
To meet criteria for testing, individuals must be:
Prescreened and meet CDC and DOH testing guidelines
Prequalified with a prescription
Preregistered through call center
Things you must bring:
Proper ID required inclusive of name, date of birth and photo. (can be one of the following documented):
FL Driver’s License
State-issued ID
Passport
Patient confirmation number from call center

Cleveland Clinic has not released when they will start testing in Coral Springs but indicated their Coral Springs location will be a mobile testing site, with a prescription.
Closures and Suspensions Update
Census field workers are suspended until May, when they will be knocking on the doors of homes that haven’t turned in their questionnaires. The public is encouraged to respond to the 2020 Census online, by phone or mail.
Broward County Libraries are closed until further notice.
Assisted Living Facilities Update
All facilities within the jurisdictional boundaries of the City of Coral Springs are required to complete an affidavit and submit it electronically to the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department at [email protected], by March 23, 2020.
Residents, we ask that you do your part to be a good citizen. If you know of a neighbor who is sick or elderly, consider sharing your supplies, offering to purchase their food or pick up their medications and supplies. Now is not the time to “hoard” supplies, be mindful of others in need
