This week, we hosted General Manager Training for an outstanding group of hotel leaders new to the team. They came ready to learn, challenge themselves, and grow. The week kicked off with a team dinner and wrapped up with certificates marking the completion of the program.

These leaders are the heartbeat of our hotels. Investing in their growth means investing in every team member and every guest who walks through our doors. We couldn't be more proud of this group.

Congratulations to all who completed the program. The best is ahead.

📷 A little sketch in an old phone book, but it represents something big — Cliff House in Decorah was where Kinseth Hospitality got its start nearly 50 years ago. Half a century of growth, new properties, and countless guests later, we still look back at where it all began with nothing but gratitude and pride. Here's to the memories, and to many more years ahead.

Another week of progress at TownePlace Suites De Pere! 🏗️

Hard hats never looked so good. 👷‍♀️✨

On Thursday, May 14, Kinseth Hospitality hosted a hard hat tour at the AC Hotel Cedar Rapids, and let's just say, the excitement on-site was as high as the floors going up.

Situated at 150 2nd Avenue SW within the Kingston Yard District, this project marks the first new hotel to be built in downtown Cedar Rapids in nearly 50 years. We were proud to welcome guests on-site to see the work firsthand and share in this milestone for our city.

When complete in 2026, the AC Hotel by Marriott will feature:
☑️ 123 modern guest rooms
☑️ An AC lobby bar with outdoor patio
☑️ 2,300 sq ft of flexible meeting space
☑️ Abundant natural light throughout public spaces and guest rooms
☑️ An outdoor firepit and patio
☑️ European-inspired AC Kitchen breakfast
☑️ Walkable access to Big Grove Brewery, Pickle Palace, and Kingston Yard's public plaza
