K9 Sniper is vested! 🐾

We are thrilled to announce that K9 Sniper of the Bushkill Township Police Department has received a bullet and stab protective vest! 🐕‍🦺🛡️

This life-protecting equipment was made possible thanks to Christine and Lanc Scalise of Capri Glass, Inc., Aliquippa, PA. K9 Sniper’s vest is embroidered with the touching sentiment, “In memory of Luke” 🕊️.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Christine and Lanc for their generous contribution to protecting our four-legged officers.

We are happy to announce that another Canine police officer will be protected. Meet our newest protective vest recipient:

K9 Sniper is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois certified in patrol, tracking, and narcotics detection. He is partnered with Officer Casey Snyder of the Bushkill Township Police Department located in Nazareth, PA. Sniper became a member of the department in April 2025 and has already completed over 350 hours of training. When he isn’t working, Sniper likes going for walks, playing with his ball and tug toy, going for a swim, and attending training days. He doesn’t like having his paws touched, and he has a strong dislike for the garden hose.

We are happy to learn he will soon be receiving his new vest. God bless and protect you and your partner, K9 Sniper! Thank you both for your service!
