What is the Emergency Broadband Benefit?
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC Covid Relief program provides a monthly Discount up to $50.00 per month towards the cost of wireless broadband service including a monthly cellphone service plan from Selectel Wireless for the life of the program.
The program will end six months after the end of the pandemic or when the $3.2billion dollar fund is exhausted.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

What this means to you?
If you meet one of the qualifications below you are eligible to receive a monthly $50.00 Wireless Service Plan from Selectel Wireless for the life of the program at NO COST TO YOU! New and existing Selectel Wireless customers may enroll in the Emergency Broadband Benefit. Once enrolled you will be notified 30 days prior to the end of the program. There are no contracts so after the program is over you can change to any of our affordable monthly service plans. Selectel Wireless offers plans to fit every lifestyle and budget.

Do I receive the funds directly each month?
No, the Emergency Broadband Benefit provides a monthly discount on broadband service including a cellphone service plan that includes wireless broadband internet data of up to $50 per eligible household (or up to $75 per eligible household on Tribal lands). The participating broadband service provider will receive the funds directly from the Emergency Broadband Benefit program and you will be notified 30 days prior to the end of the program.
