Healthy Families Crisp Healthy Families Crisp is a free and voluntary home visiting program. What is HEALTHY FAMILIES?

Services are designed to strengthen families beginning prenatally up to the age of 5 years of a child’s life when vital early brain development occurs. National studies have shown that children who received Healthy Families services are more develop-mentally advance and better prepared for school by the age of 3. Who Can Received Healthy Families? Healthy Families Crisp services are available to Crisp, Dooly, and Sumter County residents who are expectant parents or have a child under 3 months of age.

Through trusted relationships, practical support, and connections to community resources, HFA home visitors partner with families to build on their strengths and support children's healthy development.

This National Make a Difference to Children Month, we celebrate the parents, home visitors, and communities who make a difference every day by helping children grow up supported, connected, and surrounded by nurturing relationships.
