Project Loop

Project Loop Helping individuals & teams get organized, stay on track, and work smarter. Hi, I’m Catherine - a lifelong problem-solver, planner, and creative collaborator.

From systems to strategy, I simplify the messy so you can focus on what matters most. For more than 20 years, I’ve led innovative projects that help people and organizations work smarter and more intentionally. My career began in education, where I served as a teacher, school principal, and executive director, guiding large teams and launching statewide initiatives focused on technology, leadershi

p, and systems design. Along the way, I built conferences from the ground up, designed operations for nonprofit programs, and supported leaders across multiple states in turning big ideas into sustainable results. What’s always driven me is making complex work feel simple, beautiful, and doable. Today, I bring that same clarity and calm to individuals and businesses who need a trusted partner to help manage projects, streamline systems, and bring creative ideas to life. If you're juggling too many moving parts or just need a second brain in the background, I’d love to support you.

Terms such as pods and quaranteams are suddenly part of our daily language, but what do these words mean? And what do pods mean in the context of in-person, hybrid, or virtual schooling? This post …

“... “the best learning experience” is not necessarily face to face. When thoughts are what you exchange, no need to be at close range.”

When my university switched to Zoom classes after the spring break, I wondered how my classes would go. I was thrilled to find they involved some of my best class discussions ever.

As you reflect on what went well at the end of 19-20 and what we need to improve for 20-21, we encourage you to watch this clip from Heather Staker on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs as related to our students learning online. Our challenge going into a new school year will be to ensure that we have taken care of physiological, safety, and belonging needs as the first phase of our connection.

Project Loop can help you design your professional learning for the coming year to ensure your students feel safe and feel a sense of belonging while achieving academic success.

Did you know?

Students in blended learning (online and face to face) environments report higher satisfaction in classes that promote social presence and as a result achieve higher results on learning measures? How can we ensure that we are making personal connections with students and designing learning experiences so that students feel connected with one another?

"Educational policymakers and local administrators must be held accountable for making sure that families can engage with remote learning...The premise that remote learning is inherently inferior is both false and self-defeating....All school personnel must reimagine their work in this new environment."

Teachers and students are right to avoid going back to campus. Now, educators much make remote learning better for the fall.
