Larson's Custom Cabinets is now accepting applications for the general maintenance position.
Job Description:
The general maintenance position is responsible for performing a variety of building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as well as repair functions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform basic plumbing work, which includes repair of flush valves, traps, faucets, etc.
- Perform basic electrical work, changing outlets, switches, lights, ballasts, etc.
- Perform basic carpentry work, which includes repair of furniture, replacing floor tiles, minor wall repair, etc.
- Monitor and perform basic repairs of building climate controls for boilers, fan coils, HVAC units, hot water heaters, chillers, pumps, air compressors, etc.
- Run air lines and duct work for dust collector.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
- Team oriented and the ability to operate with a diverse group of people
Requirements
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Work Conditions and Physical Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Capable of carrying, moving, and lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.
- Occasional exposure to contaminants such as dust or other odors.
- May be required to occasionally be around hazardous equipment.
- Periodic exposure to loud noises and sounds.
