On Monday July 19, at 11am, Veterans are invited to a BBQ and tour of fellow Veteran, Mark Braun and his wife Tammy's Riverside Lavender Farm. Free for all Veterans with a rating. Come check out this amazing place and enjoy an afternoon with fellow veterans. We will also be making some lavender wreaths!

While supporting Veterans and the organizations making it possible is our main focus, the dream project we are working on is a Veterans retreat camp ground which will be available to Veterans and their families. The dream is to make the campground accessible to veterans of any ability, with wheelchair accessible camp sites, activities including hunting trips, and a fishing dock. The primitive dock and camp sites will be along on the Little River, which winds through a private 18 acres of woodlands south of Cornish, ME. The dock and camp sites will remain primitive to preserve the Little River and its beauty. Our goal is to help as many veterans as possible by healing through the power of the great outdoors along the Little River. While we do already have the property, there is quite a lot of work left before our dream can be realized.

Thanks to our angel donor, we are starting to see that dream come to light! We now have a road from the edge of the property all the way back to the river! This used to be quite a hike to reach the sunken bridge across the Little River, but now will be much more easily accessed by car.

Thanks to our new road, Wayne and Marc went fishing for the first time at the campground this past week. Marc recently joined the Air Force, and Wayne wanted to take him fishing to congratulate him. We are incredibly proud of Marc for his commitment - and because he was the first to catch a fish at the Little River!

After Wayne’s daughter finally convinced him to reach out to Operation ReBoot OutDoors, they started off with a 2 hour phone call! The next morning, Wayne headed up to go meet them. He had a great time working hard with Dan and his guys. If only Wayne would listen to his brilliant daughter a little more often… 😉

Check out Operation ReBoot OutDoors! Wayne went up and worked with Dan and his incredible team of combat vets last week. These guys are doing huge things for our brothers in need. We look forward to working with them again soon!

Our main mission is to improve the lives of all veterans of any service. We aim to do this by helping to fund a veteran organization either of your choosing, or by letting us direct the donation to any of our incredible partners helping vets in need.

You can hire The Grumpy Vette, a custom 1984 Corvette, which is operated and maintained by our grumpy vet, Desert Storm Combat Medic H Wayne Libby. The Grumpy Vette has been seen in Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, and July 4th Parades around southern Maine and we would love to be at your next event too!

All of our proceeds from the event will go towards helping vets in need. If you know of another organization that we should partner with next, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
