A friendly notice for all of our tree growth clients📣🌲🙂:
The only letters or notices that warrant your concern over the status of your tree growth are ones that were sent from your town and/or assessor. Letters that are coming from other firms or foresters that haven’t previously handled your tree growth are generated from a list of tree growths provided by the towns that aren’t updated in real time. This is causing landowners who’ve utilized our tree growth services within the last couple years to question whether we failed to submit their tree growth renewal, which is not the case.

For each of the many instances we’ve recently encountered, a letter claiming a tree growth was due that was sent by anyone other than the town or assessor has been incorrect due to inaccuracies from the lists of names and addresses used to generate the letter.

Thank you, and happy spring (once it finally arrives ❄️🌸)

Picture just for attention, but Maple sure is ready for warm days and soft grass ☀️🐶

Kevin couldn’t “bee”lieve how close he was to stepping on this nest that a black bear had recently unearthed in Stow, ME. Pretty neat to see the nest exposed; usually foresters only know they’ve found one when they start getting stung and have to take off in a sprint thru the woods 😅🐝

We couldn’t have asked for better weather for this harvest tour yesterday with our client and her brother-in-law. We got to show them the timber harvest system and process, and gave them insight into how we are transforming the objectives they’ve set for their land into real management decisions in the forest and with their forest products. This farm and forestland has been in their family since 1908, with a handful of adjoining land acquisitions thru the previous century. We are honored to be facilitating their forest management. 🌲

Does anybody know what kind of snake this is? Our foresters Mitch and Caleb were happy to see it slither back into the woods out of sight at the entrance to a woodlot in Cornish, ME. They claim they were calm, cool, and collected during the interaction - conveniently there was nobody else present to provide proof of their relaxed demeanor 😂

Finally some nice weather for our foresters and their su-paw🐾-visers to enjoy the great outdoors. After what feels like months worth of cold dreary spring days, finally the April gem we’ve all been waiting for. Would’ve felt even nicer on a Sunday and not a Monday, but we’ll take it. 👍🏻✅
