đźš’ The Redshirts Brought Home the Hardware! đźš’
Yesterday, the Redshirts took part in the 111th Annual Orange County Volunteer Firefighters Parade, hosted this year by the Monell Engine Company in Washingtonville.
Our members spent many hours preparing Tanker 415 for what would be its last parade before its replacement is delivered sometime after the start of the new year.
We are often told that our equipment looks brand new. The reason is simple: the pride, dedication, and countless hours our members put into maintaining our company and our equipment.
That pride was on full display yesterday as our 35-year-old Tanker 415 took 1st Place in the Tanker category, and the Company took 1st Place in the Class B Marching Unit! 🏆🏆
A heartfelt thank you to all of our members who took the time to participate and represent our company with such pride. These awards are a reflection of the dedication and commitment that our members bring to the fire company every day.
And a special thank you to the Tappan Fire Department for covering our district while our members were out of town attending the parade. Your support and willingness to stand by for our community is greatly appreciated.
158 years old and the company still bringing home the gold! 🥇🚒
Congratulations to all of our members!
Proud to be a Redshirt!
